Krystyna Mine Shaft has been in existence for decades, patiently awaiting new users. The context surrounding it is constantly changing, and our team has, for over a dozen years, been striving to adapt our concepts to the ever-evolving realities around it.

When previously unknown technical constraints stood in our way, we set about developing a new vision. As before, in this new concept Krystyna will first and foremost be carefully preserved to ensure that her technical condition does not deteriorate further. Meanwhile, on the ground floor, instead of the previously planned service pavilion, a multi-purpose cultural and entertainment space will be created.

The void left by the sudden passing of our investor, Edward Bałdyga, is mingled with immense gratitude for his hard work, extraordinary kindness and passion for saving this building. We thank him for everything he did for her, and we remain confident that the plans he set out will be realised.
