National Ice Sports Centre

Upper Silesia is the region with the highest density and number of hockey clubs. The National Ice Sports Centre is the answer to the lack of a facility on a national scale that concentrates the functionality of multiple ice sports disciplines. The NCSL is to include, among other things, hockey rinks including a short track, curling lanes and a year-round ice climbing wall. In addition, the facility is to include accompanying functions located in a tower, at the top of which would be a viewing restaurant towering over the landscape of Katowice’s historic districts.
